The First Biodegradable* EPS Resin
EVRgreen™ EPS anaerobically biodegrades an average of 45% in 562 days in conditions that represent biologically managed landfills of the Southeastern US*.
EVRgreen™ EPS degrades only in a microbe rich environment and the resin properties are not changed from standard EPS.
EVRgreen™ EPS maintains the exceptional performance characteristics of molded EPS foam:
- Superior Hot and Cold Insulation
- Condensation Resistant
- High Strength
- Light Weight
- Wide Performance Temperature Range ( -20oF to 190oF)
- Shelf Life Stable
- Recyclable with all Polystyrene †
With two food contact formulations, EVRgreen™ EPS is well suited for manufacture of thin to medium wall packaging and container applications.
